The Owner / Module 01
Lifecycle project cost
Budget, committed, certified and forecast on one line — sourced from the certified ledger, with anything hand-keyed marked as unverified so you always know which number to trust.
- CFO
- Project director
- Board

For an owner. The uncomfortable question on most development boards is not "what have we spent?" — it is "which of these four numbers is the real one?" A cost position assembled from the same ledger that certifies payments answers it, and labels the parts that are still someone's estimate.
What you see
The four positions, side by side
Approved budget, value committed on contracts and orders, value certified to date, and forecast at completion — per project and per package, in Indian format.
Design-stage cost carried forward
The order of cost, elemental plan and tender sum that preceded the contract, so you can see where the project's cost narrative began and what moved it.
Change exposure, itemised
Variations instructed, certified and pending; escalation claimed; LD position. The difference between your contract value and your likely outturn, with each item's cause.
Verified versus unverified, marked
Figures drawn from the certified ledger are distinguished from figures typed into a management field. Nothing is presented as certified that is not.
Why it is trustworthy
- The certified figure comes from the payment ledger, not a report table
- The ledger is append-only — a past month cannot be quietly restated
- Every certificate behind it was approved by two different people
What you cannot do here
- Edit a figure — the lens is read-only by design
- See another party's confidential commercial detail
- Export beyond your entitled scope
