Measurement books & RA bills — the screen inside ArgAssure

On a contractor's desk. The quantity you can prove is the quantity you get paid for. Measurement in a notebook, transcribed at month end by someone who was not there, is the single largest source of certified-versus-claimed variance in Indian contracting.

What it holds

Measurement against the BOQ item

Entries reference the bill item, the location, the date and the people present. Steel and bar-schedule measurement is entered in its own form rather than forced into a generic field.

Append, never replace

A new measurement adds to the sheet; it does not rewrite it. Concurrent entries from two shifts sum rather than overwrite each other, and the running total is derived, not typed.

Captured offline at the workface

The field app queues entries with no signal and syncs each exactly once. A duplicate day is rejected with the reason stated; an over-remaining quantity warns before it is queued.

RA bill assembled from the sheet

The bill is built from measured quantities at contract rates, with previous-bill and this-bill columns derived. Claiming beyond site-verified quantity is flagged before it reaches the certifier.

What it produces in a dispute

  • The measurement sheet as written, with every entry's author and timestamp
  • Photographic evidence tied to the entry, not to a folder
  • The BOQ item lineage from tender rate to certified quantity

What it will not allow

  • Overwriting a measurement sheet
  • Measurement against a locked BOQ without authority
  • A second DPR for the same day
